Update: July 31, 2025

In December 2024, I set self-imposed deadlines for several new projects in 2025 and promised myself to finish at least three started-but-abandoned projects from before. 

I am happy to report...

1) that I'm still on schedule with my new projects — Whiskered Wonders (March 15, 2025) and Xenial Xenophile (June 15, 2025), both by Pishi Pooch. The next Pishi Pooch book will hopefully come out on September 15, 2025.

2) that I just submitted the third / last unfinished project, Fate & Folio, to publish it. In case you're wondering, the other two unfinished projects were Formula Free by Pishi Pooch (July 4, 2025) and Freewrite Focus by Noosha Ravaghi (July 25, 2025). Formula Free was supposed to be a Noosha Ravaghi book, but I thought it would be fun to Pishify it... so here we are.

I also published Quiet Quarters on May 26, 2025, but that wasn't planned or scheduled. That tiny memoir just poured out of me.

Independence Day

Today feels like the perfect day to declare a little independence of my own.

As of today, I’m stepping back from posting daily on this blog. I’ve kept up the rhythm for quite a while, and it’s been rewarding... but I’ve recently taken on a large project, one I started just over a month ago, and something has to give.

Along with pausing the daily blog, I’ll also be less active on social media — mainly Twitter/X and Instagram, where I’m usually more present.

So this is me choosing focus, choosing depth over frequency. I may still post here from time to time... just not every day.

Thank you for reading, for showing up, and for making this daily habit meaningful while it lasted.

About My Project

I'm collaborating with myself?

Here's what happened:
I've been working on a project for a while to have an actual textbook and workbook for my sessions with my writing students. I meant to publish both the textbook and the workbook under Noosha Ravaghi, my real name, as all my students have always known me, but about three weeks ago, as I finished editing the textbook, I decided to turn the textbook into a Pishi Pooch book... mostly because some of my students are younger and might prefer a cat as their teacher... and so I "pishified" the lessons and now each lesson is taught by Pishi first and then by Noosha in the textbook, Formula Free, by Pishi Pooch. The workbook will be out in July, too, by Noosha Ravaghi. I'm still working on it.
